TC.24.06 is a fascinating Carpondro with a pattern that closely resembles that of many yellow neonate pure Green Tree Pythons. If I had to guess its Green Tree Python locality, I’d say it looks like an Aru type, but it is indeed a Carpondro with neither Aru locality in its genetics. While this similarity can cause confusion, it’s easily avoided with proper documentation and by working with reputable collectors.
This particular snake is exceptionally docile and rarely strikes. It will not be available for sale until it is fully established and eating full pinky mice, preferably unscented FT fuzzy mice. Currently, TC.24.06 is being assist-fed—it will swallow food once it’s placed in its mouth, but it has not yet started feeding on its own.

DISCLAIMER: As with any snake species, mutations can happen. Hybridization and the breeding of hybrids have their risks. The main danger includes infertility in male counterparts, as 50/50 male Carpondros may be sterile. Therefore, all Carpondros should be considered as pets before potential breeders. Unless otherwise indicated, Tree Gems guarantees healthy and thriving individuals free from any visible or noticeable abnormalities or mutations before sale, unless otherwise indicated.
**Hybridization has its risks, as with any breeding undertaking. Considering these are some of the first 75% Carpondros in the US. We are excited to see how they will be established as adults. I anticipate them being excellent pets, with a likely chance that both the male and the female will be fertile and able to produce a new F3 lineage with striking patterns. From my experience, Carpondros make very hardy snakes, even more resilient than pure Green Tree Pythons. For example, Carpondros may handle larger meals, tolerate handling, and permit wider environmental conditions better than pure GTP's. ** Nevertheless, I have noticed that Carpondros have impressive behavioral characteristics that indicate they will thrive in captivity and even make "domesticated lineages".
